Thomas the Train and Chuggington Birthday Party

Well here is the final results of the much planned 5th Birthday party for my daughter.

Picture overload ahead: Shirts were made by me with heat transfer vinyl and cut out with my Silhouette.

Old suitcase to hold the party favors (some are in a metal tin), banner was made using my Silhouette Portrait.

How cute is Little Bit in her shirt!

Yup, we rent a trackless train for everyone to ride. The kids and adults loved it. It was full the entire hour!

Her cake!

I used blind slats and vinyl to make the crossing sign (and yes I fussed at hubby for putting it on the pole)

Traintastic Family with our train shirts! (this was at the end of the party and I was tired! We had about 15 kids and 20 adults!)

Finally..a new item in the shop. :)

I have had this fabric for a month or so now and wanted to make this set but never got time. Well Little Bit got home today but was super tired so she went to sleep so I decided I felt like sewing. It felt good. I am still sore but doing better each day.

Look at this cute fabric! I love it!

Shop link if you would like to buy it. ;)

I am still here...

Life has been busy as I am preparing for a minor surgery tomorrow then Little Bit's 5th birthday!

Little Bit asked for Thomas and Wilson on her cake; Wilson is from Chuggington. And who knew Chuggington was so hard to find. Thomas is everywhere. So I decided to go with color scheme with a few projects here and there of Thomas and Wilson. I bought blue, red, yellow, green colored plates and napkins, along with some paper straws. I have a few projects done but have a few more to do.

Here are her invites: I based them off this invitation but didn't want to spend the money when I knew I could do it myself. But hers is probably 100 times prettier...lol.

And here is her banner I made last night. Each piece is glued on and I put red twine for the ribbon. For Thomas and Wilson, I used the Print & Cut feature on my Silhouette Portrait.

Ok, I decided not to clean but to play. Here is Little Bit's birthday shirt!
