Well we made an offer on the house on October 3rd! Then on October 5th, we had a viewing on our house and the lady wants to buy it!! So right now we are in the mist of getting paperwork signed then waiting. We are waiting for the bank to finish our paperwork so we can set a closing date. The lady is going to lease our house until her divorce is final. The lease agreement is signed along with a contract to buy. She is to move in Nov 22nd since our closing date is tentative set for Nov 12th. If we close sooner, she can move in sooner.
I am so excited about the new house. We have to get a fence for Louise (RIP Thelma) and a fridge but the rest just needs a good cleaning. We may paint a few rooms before we move in but probably will just wait. Though I may paint Ashlee's room first so I can decorate it. I want to get new bathroom stuff and a new comforter for our bed. I am thinking of painting our bathroom and bedroom a green color since our carpet is brown. The comforter I like is blue with some brown trimming. I think it would look great in the room.
That is really where we stand now. Just waiting for the bank to do their thing so we can know if the 12th is our closing date or if we can close sooner....our realtor is pushing for October 27th but I doubt that.
